Real time extracts from M3 to BI staging tables

For real-time push of data from Infor Data Lake into on-premises or cloud databases, i3's Real Time Extract is a simple and quick to implement solution. Using native ION capabilities and i3's custom logic at the destination to handle insert/update/delete scenarios, operational reporting using third party tools is easy. With a typical latency of less than 2 minutes from M3 activity to destination BI tables your data is always up to date and ready to serve to your users.

Easy identification of APIs used in MEC maps

Keeping on top of the impact of monthly releases can be a chore, especially establishing which MEC integrations use APIs that have been updated or withdrawn. i3's MEC interrogation tool makes this easy as it advises all the APIs used by integrations, including details of which API fields are used. This tool is a key part of our Release Impact Management offering to our customers and it saves many hours per month of effort.

Audit user activity in M3

If you're interested in knowing the M3 programs that your users are actually using, or the APIs your users, integrations and automations use then i3's activity audit tool is for you. This tracks when users last used M3 programs, how often they use those programs and the navigation path they followed to get to those programs and presents this information in a custom list screen in M3. This is really helpful across a number of use cases including security design so you know what to lock down, user navigation design (menus, shortcuts, program start parameters) so you have visibility of how your users are actually using M3, and license audits when you need evidence of what your users are actually doing.

Most customers have Excel spreadsheets that interact with M3 via APIs. These are great productivity tools but typically have three major shortcomings:

They use Excel macros
They typically only interact with one API at a time or have hard coded logic to interact with multiple APIs (to create a sales order or load a GL journal for example)
They are difficult to secure and can be relatively freely passed between users and IT teams quickly lose control of which users have which tools
